At the suggestion of a friend, I signed up for Facebook Dating on November 6, 2021, at 8pm. Courtesy of text messages, I know the exact date and time. I think the timeline is important. I’m 42 years old and I have been single for so long. Not for a lack of interest but more of a lack of self-motivation and believing that I deserved to receive love. Online I am bold, sassy, and quick-witted. Yet, there is a side of me that wants to hide because I gained so much pandemic weight and feel so unattractive. But I went ahead and did it to say it was done
And guess what……..
There are men out there that like all this extra cushion. Seriously. I posted head shots and full-length pics. I received so many men in my inbox. These men had body ody ody though so I was a bit confused. I went with it though. I mean, I have a gorgeous face! Finally, after lots of ‘ wyd’, ‘ hey beautiful’ and ‘ good mornings’ I met 2 men. The first one is 10 years younger and restarting life after a divorce. He is rich dark chocolate and sweet but his phase in life and mine don’t mesh well. Then I met a man 9 years older. He is a fitness freak and a pescatarian. Yes…… you read that right. He keeps me laughing and intrigued He is extremely active and has his life on a plan. A grown man. Yasssss {2 snaps}. It’s going on week 3 so I will keep you guys updated.
Maybe there will be a That_Girl_Shep love journey
